Melaza is a dance theater piece that explores the colonial relationship between Puerto Rico and the United States. The second phase of the work (Weaving Stories) takes a closer look at the situation in Puerto Rico 'pre, during, and post' Huracán María, seen from a framework of Environmental Justice.
Danza Orgánica recently premiered its newest work: MELAZA, on October 13-14, 2017, at Hibernian Hall, Roxbury MA 02119
