November 15-21, 2018 Proyecto Melaza: Cultural Exchange/Creative residency in Puerto Rico. Danza Orgánica in creative residency at El Bastión, Viejo San Juan- Puerto Rico, towards Melaza: Tejiendo Historias/ Weaving Stories.
December 1-2, 2018 MELAZA II: Symposium on Colonial Relationships between the Caribbean and the USA. Danza Orgánica is very excited to host a symposium in which we explore the colonial relationships between the Caribbean and the United States of America.This unique symposium will be an opportunity to learn from artists and historians whose work revolves around social justice oriented issues, with a focus on colonial relationships. There will be performances, a panel, and workshops. More details coming soon!
